Iran, Russia envoys discuss JCPOA, SPV, US sanctions

During the meeting held on Friday, the two sides examined important issues in Iran-EU relations, including cooperation in the framework of JCPOA implementation, implementation of EU's financial mechanism called "Special-Purpose Vhicle (SPV)", the forthcoming meeting of foreign ministers of JCPOA, US sanctions, and regional developments.

The European Union has repeatedly criticized the United States for its illegal act of withdrawing from Iran nuclear deal and unilateral measures, and believes that measures to create a financial mechanism will be fruitful, Markus Ederer said during the meeting.
