Booby Trap Bombs Kill Scores of Saudi Mercenaries in Yemen’s JawfDozens of Saudi-sponsored militants were killed in the district of Khab Wa Shaaf in Jawf after booby trap bombs planted by Yemeni forces exploded, a military official told Saba news agency.

On Monday, the Yemeni army launched several missiles at Saudi military positions in the kingdom’s southern regions in retaliation for Riyadh's deadly military campaign against their country.

It fired five Zelzal-1 (Earthquake-1) missiles at Saudi positions near Alab border crossing in the kingdom's southwestern region of Asir.

A military source said that the attack left an unspecified number of Saudi troops dead and injured. Saudi authorities usually keep the number of their war casualties a secret.

The Yemeni forces fired two more missiles at military positions east of al-Nar Mountain in Jizan.

The attacks against the Saudi-led forces come in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition.

The Saudi war on Yemen has so far claimed the lives of about 56,000 Yemenis, says the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization.

The war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories.
