TEHRAN (defapress) - The judo competitions of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games were followed yesterday, Sunday, July 28.
In one of these matches, Algerian judoka, Messaoud Redouane Dris, who faced an opponent from the Zionist regime, refused to compete and withdrew from the competition. This Algerian athlete made this decision in support of the Palestinian people and against the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.
This match should be held today, Monday, July 29, but the French media quoted an informed source as saying that this match will not be held and that the Algerian judoka weighing minus 73 kg will not compete against the Zionist opponent.
If the Organising Committees for the Olympic Games considered this as a political decision, the Algerian Judo Federation may be fined.
