TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Quds Al Arabi, six weeks after a three-judge panel in the 9th United States Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the Palestinians, Palestinian Americans, and human rights groups who sued senior officials of the Joe Biden administration for complicity in the Israeli regime's genocide in Gaza, the plaintiffs in the case appealed to the federal appeals court on Thursday.

The plaintiffs' lawsuit, which was presented by two law firms (CCR and Van Der Hout LLP), complained about US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and accused them of providing unconditional support to the United States from the Zionist regime because it led to the martyrdom of about 40,000 Palestinians, the injury of more than 90,000 Palestinians, the displacement of two million Palestinians from a large part of Gaza, genocide, and the most heinous human rights crimes.

In this request, a complaint has been filed against the Biden administration's assistance to the Israeli regime in bombing Gaza and providing billions of dollars in weapons that were used in the deadliest massacres of Palestinians by the Israeli army.

Although the court initially recognized that "the Israeli army's current treatment of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip could amount to genocide and a violation of international law," dismissed the complaint a month later.

Currently, the plaintiffs of this case have appealed.
