TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Iranian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has firmly denied allegations linking the Islamic Republic of Iran to the murder of a Zionist rabbi in the United Arab Emirates.
Zvi Kogan, aged 28, who was reported missing from Dubai on Thursday afternoon, was discovered deceased on Sunday. However, certain Western media outlets and the Zionist regime quickly attributed the murder to Iran, doing so without any substantiated evidence and even before the Emirati authorities had initiated an investigation.
In response to an inquiry from Reuters, the Iranian embassy stated, "We categorically reject the allegations made regarding Iran’s involvement in the murder of this individual."
Subsequently, the Emirati government announced the arrest of 3 individuals in connection with Kogan's murder, although specific details were not provided.
The office of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu characterized the rabbi's killing in the UAE as a security incident, asserting that all necessary measures would be taken to identify the culprits. It also claimed that Kogan was abducted and killed in an “act of antisemitic terrorism,” a usual pretext of the Zionist regime.
