Rafah; A deadly trap for the Zionists

TEHRAN (defapress) - The issue of military operations and the attack of the Zionist army on the city of Rafah after the defeat and failure of this regime's army in the Gaza war had faced severe negative positioning from regional experts and even Israeli specialists. In a way that almost all of them considered the plan of the Zionist regime to attack Rafah, as an irrational and very dangerous action from all aspects.  

The regional and even Israeli analysts considered the Zionist regime's attack on Rafah to be catastrophic due to the very special conditions of this city and the settlement of more than one and a half million displaced people from Gaza. Such an attack and military action were described as containing destructive risks for Tel Aviv, and these issues and problems in the short and long term could bring down the Netanyahu government and cabinet due to being involved in these challenges.

But Binyamin Netanyahu and his extremist cabinet started their military operations against the city of Rafah without paying attention to all the mentioned issues and by bombarding and barraging different areas from land, air, and sea while destroying parts of this city, a large number of people were martyred or injured. This is even though until today, the forces of the Zionist regime in Rafah, like Gaza, did not achieve much success except destroying residential buildings and killing and injuring people.

Now, considering the eight months of the Gaza war and the defeat and failure of the Zionist regime army in destroying the Hamas group and eliminating the commanders of this Palestinian resistance group, apart from regional experts, Israeli experts also explicitly warn the leaders and officials of Tel Aviv that the events in Gaza will be repeated in Rafah and the Zionist army will face another defeat and failure.

On the other hand, the political analyzer of "Yediot Aharonot" newspaper, "Nahum Barnea", reported that the army estimation shows that any operation in Rafah will have limited results and will not lead to the destruction of Hamas or return the Israeli prisoners. This issue is another sign of other failures in the report card of the Zionist regime army, and if this happens, the foundations of Netanyahu's government and cabinet will be weakened even more.

Another noteworthy issue is the assessment of Israeli experts regarding the useless results of the military attack of the Zionist regime on the city of Rafah. Most of the experts believe that a ground attack on Rafah will not destroy Hamas in any way while this attack cannot lead to the release the Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.

But it's not the whole story and the Zionist newspaper, "Maariv", during a report, called the military operation in Rafah a "trap" for the occupation regime. This Zionist media while pointing out that "Rafah is a trap, don't enter it", wrote to the heads of the occupying regime that the military operation in Rafah will not lead to the collapse of Hamas or the release of prisoners.

In the end, it should be said that considering the inconclusiveness of the 200-day war in Gaza and the failure of the Zionist regime to achieve its predetermined goals and plans, as well as the extensive negative consequences it has had inside and outside the occupied Palestinian territories, any military attack in the city of Rafah can be considered another failure in the history of the occupying and offender Zionist army.
