TEHRAN (defapress) - The secretary of the human rights of judiciary, Kazem Gharibabadi, in a message announced that Hamid Nouri, an Iranian citizen who was illegally detained in Sweden, was released.
Gharibabadi said: "I am pleased to inform the dear people of Iran that Mr. Hamid Noori, who has been in illegal detention in Sweden since 2018, is free and will return to the country in a few hours. This success is due to the efforts of my colleagues in the judiciary, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and especially my brother, martyr Amir Abdollahian".
The Oman News Agency announced that Iran and Sweden reached an agreement on the mutual release of citizens detained in the two countries with the mediation of the Sultanate of Oman. According to this statement, Iranian and Swedish nationals will be transferred from Stockholm and Tehran to Muscat today to prepare to return to their countries.
