TEHRAN (Defapress) - Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured this evening in a series of Israeli airstrikes on various locations across the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces continued attacks across Gaza, killing two people in northern Beit Lahiya and wounding several people in the central Nuseirat refugee camp. The assaults came after 10 Palestinians were killed in two separate bombings in Gaza City.
In addition, Israeli warplanes struck the Al-Shawa School in the nearby city of Beit Hanoun, a facility currently serving as a shelter for displaced persons. There were no immediate reports of casualties from this attack.
Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation forces also bombarded an area west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that two of the victims and several injured individuals were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City after Israeli missiles struck a group of civilians near Al-Azhar University in the city.
Meantime, a WAFA correspondent reported that another victim and several injured were recovered from a water transport vehicle that was hit by Israeli shelling west of the Nuseirat refugee camp. The casualties were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp.
Earlier in the day, medical sources at the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital confirmed that five Palestinians had been brought to the facility following an Israeli drone strike that targeted civilians on Salah al-Din Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
