TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Red Crescent Society of Iran has reported the arrival of a 4th shipment of aid, which consists of 3 tonnes of medical supplies, in Lebanon.
Babak Mahmoudi, a representative of the organization, indicated that this delivery includes emergency medications, particularly for pediatric use.
He further reiterated a prior statement regarding the Red Crescent's intention to establish a new field hospital along the Lebanon-Syria border, following the Israeli military's recent airstrike on its existing hospital in the region. This new facility is planned to be located approximately 40 kilometers (24 miles) from the site that was targeted by Israel.
Additionally, Mahmoudi mentioned that at least 11 aid workers from the Iranian Red Crescent are expected to be dispatched to Lebanon in the upcoming days.
