Commemoration of 200 Martyrs of Resistance Front Journalists

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The commemoration ceremony of 200 martyred journalists under the title "Assassination of Truth" by the International Forum of Free Media began today (Monday) with the presence of a group of media activists at IRIB University. 

This ceremony is an opportunity to commemorate the journalists who sacrificed their lives in the way of informing the audience.

The presence of media officials and journalists in this event, while respecting the high status of the martyrs of the journalists of Gaza and Lebanon, will be a reminder of their tireless efforts in the path of truth and freedom of expression.

According to the Committee for the Protection of Journalists, from October 2023 to October 2024, 200 journalists and media activists were martyred. Also, during the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime, 75 media centers in Gaza were completely destroyed.
