TEHRAN (Defapress) - Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Anwar announced that his nation is part of a key coalition working on a resolution that seeks to expel Israel from the United Nations should it be determined that the country has breached international laws about Palestine.
"The resolution is currently under negotiation, and we will assess the possibility of Israel's removal from UN membership in the event of international law violations," he stated.
"Malaysia is committed to ensuring that this agenda receives the necessary attention, aiming to halt the atrocities perpetrated by the Israeli regime and to facilitate the delivery of essential aid to the Palestinian people amid escalating violence," he further remarked.
This move arises as global criticism intensifies in response to Israel's recent decision to prohibit UNRWA from operating in occupied areas.
